About This Plant
Monadenium rubellum is a caudex-forming succulent prized for its swollen base and sculptural, bonsai-style growth. This species develops a distinctive tuber-like caudex and green foliage, making it a standout for collectors of exotic and unusual plants. Best grown indoors with warm, bright light, it thrives in a fast-draining cactus/succulent soil mix and requires low water, allowing the soil to dry between waterings.
