About This Plant
Chicago Hardy fig (Ficus carica) is known for its exceptional cold tolerance, surviving winter temperatures down to -10°F (-23°C) and regrowing after freezing. It produces sweet, dark purple figs with rich, jammy flesh and a compact growth habit, suitable for northern growers, urban gardens, containers, and raised beds.
What You Will Receive
2 fresh unrooted cuttings, each 6–8 inches long, taken from mature Chicago Hardy fig trees. Cuttings are shipped fresh from vigorous, disease-free parent trees and are ideal for propagation using basic rooting methods.
